1905    “A Descriptive Check List of the Etched and Engraved Book Plates of J. Winfred Spenceley.”  From an announcement in July 1905: “W.P. Truesdell has published at the Troutsdale Press, Boston, “A Descriptive Check List of The Etched and Engraved Book Plates of J. Winfred Spenceley,” which list 135 plates by this designer, with a description of each plate, and illustrations of many, with a portrait of Mr. Spenceley as a front piece.”

1907    A booklet devoted to the book plates of Elisha Brown Bird, being a collection printed in photogravure, 82 pages.  "This edition of Elisha Brown Bird, His Book Plates, printed for Winfred Porter Truesdell, Arlington, Massachusetts, consists of one hundred and ten copies on Van Gelder handmade paper, and forty copies on Japan vellum.  The text has been composed by Bertha M. Goudy, in Village type designed by Frederic W. Goudy, and printed by them at the Village Press, New York, in September, 1907.  1 v. (unpaged) plates. 24 cm.  Second listing:  portrait and 25 bookplates rented from the original coppers, including one engraved by J. Winfred Spenceley, with foreword by W. Porter Truesdell.  Limited Edition 150 copies, 110 on Van Gelder, 40 on Japan vellum. (A second announcement states: “Only 110 copies printed on Van Gelder hand-made paper at the Village Press, New York.")

1914    General Officers of the War with Spain, and in the Philippine Insurrection.  Announcement of the publication of a series of etched portraits of the General Officers of the Regular Army and Volunteer Forces from 1898 to 1903.  Privately Printed in New York, May 1914.  (Announcement difficult to find, book may not have been printed.) 

1920    Engraved and Lithographed Portraits of Abraham Lincoln by Winfred Porter Truesdell: Announcement of the issue of a book on the portraiture of Lincoln and a descriptive check-list of all the known engravings, lithographs, etc., with a complete collection of the life photographs and their history, 14 pages.   A six-page prospectus was also printed. A second listing for this upcoming title states: Not yet published.  Letter from author states, “It will probably be some months before it is published.  The author resides at Champlain, New York”
